We are a family-run, design-led brand dedicated to empowering those of us in the diaspora to feel pride in our culture and heritage.

We have had to have some serious conversations with our children since the resurgence of the Black Lives Matter movement and have been lucky enough to be able to use some of the powerful images captured by our resident photographer, Eddie (aka Daddy), during the London Black Lives Matter protests in June 2020 to shape the narrative that we have shared with them.  We involve our daughters in the design of our products, encouraging them to ask questions and express their creativity. 

 

We are also very passionate about sustainability and are making sure we protect the Earth as much as we can while we are here.  Therefore, our T-shirts and sweatshirts are produced using organic cotton and we use recycled and recyclable paper for our posters and cards.  Our printing choices are made with sustainability in mind too and we aim for packaging that is either recyclable or compostable.
